LAFH Awards 2024

Each year, LA Family Housing Awards brings together advocates, long-time supporters, entertainment industry leaders, government partners, and friends for an evening of education, advocacy, and inspiration. Together, we reflect on how to end homelessness in people’s lives, and we invite you to join us as we celebrate the heart and soul of LAFH - our extraordinary staff.

Register today and join us in celebrating our impactful efforts in helping people transition out of homelessness, for good. Your invaluable support is the magic behind our work, and we're genuinely excited to share this special night with you. We look forward to seeing you there.

LAFH Awards is an evening you cannot miss

Guests and supporters will have the opportunity to bid on unique auction packages, enjoy cuisine from some of LA’s top chefs who are lending their voice (and their recipes) to our mission, sip specialty cocktails, and enjoy a special performance by Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams! Most importantly, you’ll join us in a much larger movement to end homelessness in people’s lives - for good.

Special Guest and Speaker
(Just Announced!)

Mayor Karen Bass

We are thrilled to announce that Mayor Karen Bass will be joining us as a special guest and speaker at LAFH Awards 2024. Mayor Bass’s leadership and dedication to responding to our homeless crisis is so important to the work we do at LAFH, and we are thrilled to welcome her at this year’s celebration of moving people home.

Musical Guest

Gracie Abrams

Gracie Abrams, a breakout singer-songwriter since her 2019 debut, has earned recognition from influential artists like Taylor Swift, Lorde, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo. Nominated for Best New Artist at the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards, Abrams, deeply influenced by Joni Mitchell, began songwriting at age eight, building a devoted fanbase with emotionally intimate lyrics and a DIY approach. Recognized by outlets like Pigeons & Planes, Fader, and Vogue UK, her debut project "minor" in 2020 received acclaim for its honest tales of heartbreak. Abrams released her highly anticipated debut album, "Good Riddance," in February 2023 and then embarked on her sold out North American headlining tour. Following her own headlining tour, Abrams joined Taylor Swift as an opener on 30 dates of the North American leg of her Eras Tour. She will rejoin Taylor as direct support when the Eras Tour returns to North America later this year.

who we serve

Impact

Over the past four years, we’ve grown exponentially – serving 61% more people on their path home. In that time, LAFH has more than doubled the number of men, women, and children served annually, connecting over 13,000 people with housing support and services in 2023. We also own and operate 33 properties of interim, affordable, and supportive housing across LA County and have 750 additional units in our pipeline to be completed in the coming years.

LA Family Housing is so incredibly important to me because they make home possible.
There’s no reason that a child should have to sleep at night without a roof over their head and the security of a home.
